Duties
and Responsibilities:
Osteopathic physicians (Doctors of Osteopathic
Medicine or D.O.s) diagnose illness and injury, prescribe and administer
treatment, and advise patients about how to prevent and manage disease. Like
their M.D. counterparts, they are fully licensed to diagnose, treat, prescribe
medications, and perform surgery in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
Education requirements:
A bachelor's degree is preferred and must be from a
regionally accredited college or university. A minimum of 90 semester hours of
accepted work from a regionally accredited college or university may be
considered for admission.
Reflection:
I would not
like to work in this because it’s boring to me and I would like to study
something else more exiting.
